Britton Strategies won an RFP to provide planning services for a public utility. The engagement included project management and facilitation for a newly created stakeholder Advisory Panel.
The project involved leading a 13-member advisory panel through complex, highly visible public meetings and preparation sessions on critical utility planning activities. The panel was to provide a "real world" perspective to utility leadership.
Britton Strategies designed and implemented an engaging facilitation process, simplifying complex information and incorporating hands-on activities.
Britton Strategies conducted monthly public meetings and preparation sessions with utility staff and members of the Advisory Panel. This included simplifying and "translating" complex industry issues, providing context for the participants and allowing them to feel the weight of the challenges faced by utility leaders. This was accomplished by using creative presentations and interactive activities for better understanding.
